  • Swift electrical are looking for an electrician to join our existing team to work in a variety of premises and on many projects including domestic, commercial and industrial. The work area is generally between Worthing and Chichester but some projects may be further afield. Day to day activities will include the following;

    * First Fixing

    * Second fixing

    * Electrical installation condition reports

    * Testing

    * Fuse board changes

    * Full rewires

    * Small works / Jobbing call outs.

    * Fault finding

    Successful applicant must have a strong work ethic and be able to work as part of an existing team or on their own. They must be Personable, motivated and have good communication skills as some elements will involve liaising with other trades onsite and customers directly.

    Role will include

    * Interpreting scale drawings and ability to understand site plans.

    * Ability to problem solve and overcome issues.

    * Take pride in their craft with a high level of workmanship.

    * Must be punctual and reliable.

    Base requirements are as follows;

    * Level 3 qualified electrician

    * Full UK Driving licence.

    * 18th edition qualification

    * Previous Site experience required.

    * In date ECS card

    Preferred applicant will have the following

    * Previous Experience in 3 phase installations

    * Test & inspect (2391 or 2394/95)

    * Previous EICR in domestic / commercial environments.

    * Knowledge in other areas including cctv, data, networking, security or other secondary areas around electrical installations.

    This role would suit either a currently self employed individual who is looking for work with a new team or a currently employed individual who is looking for a new challenge.

    Pay, terms and a van are all negotiable and depends on previous experience and qualifications.

  • Electricians Mate

    Swift electrical are looking for a Junior Electrician / Electrician Mate to join our existing team to work in a variety of premises and on many projects including domestic, commercial and industrial. The work area is generally between Worthing and Chichester but some projects may be further afield. Day to day activities will include assisting members of our team in the following;

    * First Fixing

    * Second fixing

    * Electrical installation condition reports

    * Testing

    * Fuse board changes

    * Full rewires

    * Small works / Jobbing call outs.

    * Fault finding

    Successful applicant must have a strong work ethic and be able to work as part of an existing team and in certain situations, on their own. They must be Personable, motivated and have good communication skills with a willingness to learn.

    Role will include

    * General electrical duties and assisting other member of the team

    * Ability to problem solve and overcome issues.

    * Take pride in their craft and a want to progress.

    * Must be punctual and reliable.

    Base requirements are as follows;

    * On track to complete or recently completed Level 3 electrical installation.

    * On track to complete or recently completed NVQ Qualification.

    * Full UK Driving licence.

    * Good communication skills

    Preferred applicant will have the following

    * 18th Edition Qualification

    * CSCS or ECS Card
